Position Papers

Delegates in General Assembly and Specialized committees are expected to write position papers prior to conference. This position paper outlines the country’s stance on the agenda item, highlighting key concerns and national interests related to the issue. It explains the historical context and current challenges while proposing realistic and cooperative solutions that the delegate will advocate for throughout the conference. Delegate position papers are due by Sunday, February 15th, 2026. Position papers should be emailed to the Under-Secretary General in charge of each committee. Any questions delegates have for their committee should also be directed towards the USG responsible. The appropriate emails are listed below:

Note: No crisis committee at IndianaMUNC XII will require a position paper.
